HSHS students will log in to Google Classroom for their Red Day Classes (1st Hour - 4th Hour)
1st Hour- 8:30-9:30
2nd Hour- 9:35-10:35
3rd Hour- 10:40-11:40
4th Hour- 12:30-1:30
*(4th Hour Physical Science Classes will log into their Elevate Class from 1:00-2:00)

Due to the incoming weather, all after school athletic practices and extracurricular events are cancelled for today, Monday, January 25th. This includes junior high volleyball practice, junior high volleyball parent meeting, high school basketball practices and high school volleyball practices.

Coach Self will be having a MANDATORY parent meeting for anyone interested in participating in the HSHS VOLLEYBALL Team on Sunday, January 24th @ 7:00 p.m. in the HSHS Auditorium. Masks and Social Distancing are required. Please contact Coach Self with questions or conflicts at rself@hscud5.org

Monday, January 18th is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. There is NO SCHOOL for Staff and Students on Monday, January 18th. January 19th is a BLACK Day will a 2:00 p.m. dismissal.


In-Person Learning resumes Monday, January 11th. Monday is a Red Day with a 2:00 p.m. dismissal. Hours 1 - 4 will meet.
For the continued safety of the staff, students, and community, please continue to call your student’s school if your student has COVID-19 symptoms, is considered a close contact, or has tested positive for virus.

Quarter 2 Exams continue to Friday, December 18th. (Zero and 5th - 8th Hours). Report Cards will be available on Teacherease the week of January 4th - January 8th. Good Luck!


Good luck on your Quarter 2 exams. Quarter 2 exams begin Thursday, December 17th. This is a Red Day and students will take exams in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hours.


Please continue to monitor your child each day for signs of COVID-19. Symptoms may include fever, headache, nasal congestions or runny nose, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, poor appetite, loss of taste or smell, belly pain, or pink eye. Please also make sure to contact the school if anyone in your home has COVID-19 symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19.
