SAT

Dear HSHS Parent/Guardian,

On Wednesday, April 13, all juniors will take the SATall sophomores will take the PSAT-10, and all freshmen will take the PSAT-9, as required by the Illinois State Board of Education. To learn more about the SAT or for your student to practice at home, visit www.collegeboard.org . Students testing should bring 2, #2 pencils and a calculator. 

Students will need to report to their testing location and assigned room by 8:20. Students with approved accommodations will take their tests in an alternative setting. Testing will take roughly four hours. It is very important that all students required to test are in attendance and on time on April 13th.

SENIORS WILL NOT BE IN ATTENDANCE on April 13. All senior students are invited to plan their own college visit, job shadow, perform community service or just enjoy their own day off.

JUNIORS without state-approved accommodations will test at the Henry United Methodist Church. Juniors with state-approved accommodations will test at HSHS. Juniors will be dismissed after testing is completed.  

SOPHOMORES will test in their assigned rooms at HSHS. All sophomores will be dismissed after lunch at 12:45 p.m. PLEASE CONTACT ME AT jhill@hscud5.org IF YOUR STUDENT WILL NEED BUS TRANSPORTATION HOME ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13TH @ 12:45 P.M. IF YOU HAVEN’T DO SO ALREADY..  

FRESHMEN will test in their assigned rooms at HSHS. All freshmen will be dismissed after lunch at 12:45 p.m. PLEASE CONTACT ME AT jhill@hscud5.org IF YOUR STUDENT WILL NEED BUS TRANSPORTATION HOME ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13TH @ 12:45 P.M. IF YOU HAVEN’T DONE SO ALREADY.

Students attending classes at the LaSalle-Peru Area Career Center (ACC) will not go to LP on Wednesday, April 13th.
