FAFSA Completion Workshop at HSHS Media Center Monday, November 15, 2021 from 5-7  p.m. 

Simone Bridgeforth from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will be at HSHS on Monday, November 15 beginning at 5:00 p.m. to assist any seniors and senior parents in completing the FAFSA form for financial assistance for college.

If you have not yet completed this form, this is a GREAT time to get it done with someone who knows what to do if you have any questions! You definitely want to get this form completed ASAP to give yourself the greatest chance to qualify for scholarships/grants/financial aid through the State of Illinois and local collegiate institutions which you are applying.

What you want to bring with you:

  • Social Security Number (Parent and Student)
  • Your 2020 Federal tax returns, W-2's and other records of money earned.
  • Banking statements and records of investments.
  • An FSA ID to sign electronically (This can be created beforehand at fsaid.ed.gov, or at the time of application).
  • List of colleges you would like to attend.
