Congratulations to the following athletes for qualifying to the IHSA State Track & Field meet.
Henry-Senachwine junior Nakeita Kessling moved on to state in three events as she won the long jump, finished second in the 400 and ran on the team's winning 4x400 relay team.
Henry-Senachwine sophomore Laney Lester moved on to state in two events as she finished second in both the shot put and discus events.
The 4x400 relay team of Daphaney Kessling (Freshman), Jersey Johnson (Freshman), Nadia Kessling (Senior), and Nakeita Kessling (Junior) won the 1A Tremont Sectional advancing to the IHSA State Track meet with a time of 4:25.72.
We wish these ladies luck as they compete at Eastern Illinois University on Thursday, June 10th!
