Congratulations Amy McConnell.

Amy McConnell has been selected the March Student of the Month at Henry-Senachwine High School. She is the daughter of Nicole Wright and Carl Adams. Amy was selected from a group of students nominated by the faculty. The selection committee consists of several high school teachers and the principal.

Amy has been a member of the Anime Club (4 years) and Art Club (2 years) during her high school career. She has also maintained good grades and has been on the Honor Roll all four years of high school.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading and writing.  She also likes to sketch, paint and has recently been working with clay. Amy attended Moore Art Portfolio Boot Camp and is interested in attending school there at some point.

Amy enjoys babysitting for her sister and neighbors. She has also taken the initiative to help beautify her neighborhood by picking up trash and doing various forms of yard work.

On Wednesday, March 17th at the school board meeting, Amy will be presented with a plaque from the Henry-Senachwine School District, an engraved pen set from the Henry-Senachwine Teachers’ Association, a $25.00 saving bond from Heartland Bank and Trust, and a $10.00 certificate from the Henry Dairy Queen.  

The student body, faculty, and the community congratulate Amy on receiving this honor in recognition of her accomplishments and contributions to HSHS.
