Congratulations to Erin Hufnagel on being named the 2020-2021 Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) award winner at Henry-Senachwine High School. Erin, daughter of Greg and Tara Hufnagel, was one of four seniors nominated (Elda Salihu, Brady Neuhalfen, and Keigan York) by the faculty and staff at Henry-Senachwine High School and was then selected by her senior class. Erin will move on and represent HSHS, along with other representatives from state board of education accredited schools for a cash reward and a $5000 scholarship.
The DAR Good Citizen program and scholarship contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The students selected as the school's DAR Good Citizen must have the qualities of: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.
