On Wednesday, February 25th two Henry-Senachwine High School students were honored at the annual John Ourth Student Excellence Award breakfast at Streator High School. The 2026 recipients were Brooklynn Thompson and Waylon Lindstrom. These two students highlight the values of outstanding citizenship, leadership, and academic performance at Henry-Senachwine High School.
The John Ourth Award is given by the Starved Rock Region Illinois Principals Association. This is a prestigious honor that is awarded to a student in the highest-grade level from our school that best exemplifies outstanding citizenship, leadership, and academic performance at HSHS. Students from the entire Starved Rock region were honored at this recognition breakfast. Congratulations, Brooklynn and Waylon!
