Dear Henry-Senachwine Parents, Guardians, and Staff:
Please be advised that an asbestos abatement project at Henry-Senachwine High School is scheduled to be conducted from May 21, 2026 to June 11, 2026. As a part of the Henry-Senachwine High School gym renovation, the project will involve the removal of accessible asbestos throughout the Henry-Senachwine High School gymnasium. The asbestos does not present an exposure hazard to students or staff, but is required to be removed due to the Henry-Senachwine High School gymnasium renovation project work. Illinois Department of Public Health licensed workers who are trained and accredited to perform asbestos abatement in Illinois will complete the project.
