Carson Rowe, the son of Lawrence and Renee Rowe, has been named the February Student of the month at Henry-Senachwine High School. Carson was selected from a group of students nominated by the faculty. The selection committee consists of high school teachers and the principal.
Currently a senior at HSHS, Carson is very involved in the school and student life. Carson has been an Honor Roll student for four years and a National Honor Society member for two years. He has participated in FBLA four years; FCA four years; HSHS Gives Back four years; MAC three years; and MDWAP four years. He has participated in Golf for four years, Basketball for four years, and Baseball for four years.
Outside of school, Carson is involved with Youth Group, Extra Love, and Choosejoy.
After high school, Carson plans to attend a college or university to continue to play competitive golf. He is undecided on his major at this time.
On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the school board meeting, Carson will be presented with an engraved pen set from the Henry-Senachwine Education Association and a personalized plaque from the district designating him as "Student of the Month." In addition, he will receive a $25.00 gift certificate from Heartland Bank in Henry and a $25.00 gift card from MidAmerica National Bank in Henry.
