Emma Robbins has been named the Henry-Senachwine High School Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Katie and Jimmy Robbins. Emma was nominated, then selected, from a group of students by the HSHS faculty and staff.
Emma is a senior at HSHS and is actively involved in the school and student life. She has been an Honor Roll student for three years of high school and is a National Honor Society member. She has worked to create “The Nest” this year, which is a peer tutoring program, and is the head tutor. Emma has participated in: Cooking Club/FCCLA, 2 years; Drama Club, 1 year; FBLA, 1 year; Kindness Quack Pack, 1 year; MDWAP, 1 year; Scholastic Bowl, 1 year; and Student Council, 2 years.
Outside of school, Emma works at The Italian Villa in Henry.
After high school, Emma plans to study for a career in nursing at Carthage College and specializing in pediatrics.
On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Henry-Senachwine Board of Education Meeting, Emma will be presented with an engraved pen set from the Henry-Senachwine Education Association and a personalized plaque from the district designating her as "Student of the Month." In addition, she will receive a $25.00 gift certificate from Heartland Bank in Henry and a $25.00 gift card from MidAmerica National Bank in Henry.
