Preston Rowe has been named the September Student of the Month at Henry-Senachwine High School. Preston was selected from a group of students nominated by the faculty and staff. He is the son of Larry and Renee Rowe.

Preston is a senior at HSHS and is very involved in the school as well as student life. He has been an Honor Roll student all three years at HSHS and is a National Honor Society member. Preston has been a Student Council member and the Class of 2024 Secretary for all four years. He has also participated in FBLA, FCA, Math Team, Red Krush/MAC, and Relay for Life/Mallards Give Back. He has competed throughout high school as a member of Cross Country, Basketball, and Baseball teams. 

Outside of school, Preston has volunteered with #Choose Joy, Ryker’s Rally, Extra Love, the Marshall-Putnam Fair-car parking,   and City of Henry river clean up.

Preston plans to attend a four year university after high school to major in Physical Therapy or Sports Medicine.

On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the meeting of the Henry-Senachwine Board of Education, Preston will be presented with an engraved pen set from the Henry-Senachwine Education Association and a personalized plaque from the school district designating him as " September Student of the Month." In addition, he will receive a $25.00 gift certificate from Heartland Bank in Henry and a $25.00 gift card from MidAmerica National Bank in Henry.
