Weather-related update for HSCUD5:
The HSHS volleyball games at Galva remain scheduled for today, Aug. 23 (Galva gym has air condition). Buses leave at 3:00 p.m.

Dear Henry-Senachwine Families and Staff:
It has been determined that the start of school will need to be postponed by one week. This determination has been made to make sure that the HSGS/JH building and grounds are returned to a safe and orderly condition for students and staff following the HVAC and roofing project work. As a result, the return to school for all District students and staff will be as follows:
Monday, August 28 - Teachers’ Institute
Tuesday, August 29 - Teachers’ Institute
Wednesday, August 30 - First Day for Students
An updated school year calendar will be provided soon.
Henry-Senachwine CUD #5 Registration for the 23-24 school year will open Monday, July 24th. If you login to your TeacherEase Parent Portal during the registration window, you will be prompted to register your student(s), and a link will be provided. Please note that registration is only accessible through the Parent Portal, not the Student Portal. Online Registration MUST BE completed using a computer, it is not supported on a phone. Online registration will close Friday, August 4th. If you have any questions, please call the school office.
Henry-Senachwine School District is seeking summer workers to assist with summer building cleanings and maintenance projects. High school students are welcome to apply.
Also, Henry-Senachwine School District is seeking a full-time custodian at HSGS/JH for the 2023-2024 school year.

An update from Henry-Senachwine Schools. The water line at HSGS/JH has been fixed and school for both HSGS/JH and HSHS will resume as normal tomorrow, Thursday, April 27, 2023. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Due to a water line break at HSGS/JH that has left the building without water until repaired, school has been cancelled for today (4/26) at both HSGS/JH and HSHS. All Pre-K classes are cancelled. Athletic events and extracurriulars remain scheduled for this afternoon. The following bus routes are still running today: ACC classes, Kiefer, Hall, BEST, Safe School.

A bus transportation update from Henry-Senachwine Schools:
Beginning this Wednesday, March 1st, students picked up at the in-town Barney/Bryan intersection will be riding Bus D until further notice.
