Henry-Senachwine High School:

(1) High School Social Worker (Maternity Leave or .5 FTE). The selected candidate must possess a high moral and ethical character, be a team player, and a student advocate. The selected candidate must have a desire to make a difference, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues toward continuous improvement, and demonstrate a positive, growth-oriented mindset. The selected candidate must hold a Valid Illinois Professional Educator License.

Henry-Senachwine Grade School/Junior High School:

Henry-Senachwine Grade and Jr High School is hiring!

Paraprofessional: To assist the teacher in developing and implementing a developmentally appropriate program for children.

Description of Duties:

  • Assist with classroom learning activities

  • Supervise children inside and outside, including but not limited to, bus duty, recess, field trips, and classroom activities.

  • Maintain accurate records as assigned by teacher.

  • Assist with assessment and evaluation of learning.

  • Assist with preparation of materials for use in the program.

  • Assist and maintain an orderly learning environment.

  • Assist in providing individual and small group instruction in learning activities.

  • Assist in communicating with parents.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of student records and data.

  • Participate in professional development.

  • Perform other incidental tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.

Illinois Paraprofessional License or Substitute License is required.
