HSHS Renovations & Academic Wing Addition –Update
Henry-Senachwine High School renovations and construction on the new academic wing addition have continued and the following progress has been made:
• Installed flooring in corridor area
• Installed gym bleachers
• Installed steel columns and beams for canopy and brick veneer
• Poured new parking lot area
• Finished blacktop and striping
• Installed freezer/cooler
• Framed bulk heads
• Installed cloud ceilings
• Installed Mallard logo in weight room and Mallard sign on building exterior
Once the HSHS office, vestibule, and corridor area have been completed, an Open House will be scheduled to allow the community an opportunity to tour the fully completed HSHS addition and renovated spaces.
The District will provide progress updates on the high school academic wing addition and renovation work on its website at www.hscud5.org, under tab ‘Master Facility Planning”. You can also click this link for access to the updates. The Henry-Senachwine Board of Education will continue to meet monthly and welcomes public attendance at the meetings.
