HSHS Renovations & Academic Wing Addition – Update
Original HSHS Academic Wing Demolition Continues
Henry-Senachwine High School renovations and construction on the new academic wing addition have continued and the following progress has been made:
• Demolition of the original HSHS academic wing continues
• Demolition & renovations began in the existing kitchen, cafeteria, corridor area
• Furniture installation at the new addition
• Painting the gymnasium
• Installation of new concrete in the courtyard area
The District will provide progress updates on the high school academic wing addition and renovation work on its website at www.hscud5.org, under tab ‘Master Facility Planning”. You can also click this link for access to the updates. The Henry-Senachwine Board of Education will continue to meet monthly and welcomes public attendance at the meetings.
