HSHS Academic Wing - Final Walk Through
Construction of the new Henry-Senachwine High School academic wing and building renovations continue and there certainly is excitement in anticipation of its completion this coming August. At the same time, the School District is preparing for the demolition of the current academic wing, which is scheduled to begin on June 15, 2026.
The current HSHS academic wing has been there for many generations of students, staff, families, and community members. Lifetime memories have made in this hallway and its classrooms. The District plans to open the school doors for those interested in walking through the hallway and classrooms one more time.
On Sunday May 17th, 2026, before the Henry-Senachwine High School Class of 2026 graduation ceremony, the current HSHS academic wing will be open for a walk through, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. There will also be an opportunity to walk through the academic wing and classrooms after the graduation ceremony until 4:00 p.m.
The District welcomes you to come visit the current HSHS academic wing one final time on Sunday, May 17th. Those visiting can enter through the academic wing doors off of the north parking lot.
