HSHS Renovations & Academic Wing Addition – Update
Henry-Senachwine High School renovations and construction on the new academic wing addition have continued and the following progress has been made:
· * Painted walls, door frames, bulkheads
· * Installation of Kalwall windows, grid ceilings, VCT classroom tile, classroom lights
· * Construction of soffits and bulkheads
· * Installation of coiling doors for the storm shelter, cloud ceilings
· * Windows in the fitness area, courtyard, and second floor installed
· * New basketball hoops installed
· * Installation of gym HVAC rooftop unit
· * Electrical power switch over to the new addition
The District will provide progress updates on the high school academic wing addition and renovation work on its website at www.hscud5.org, under tab ‘Master Facility Planning”. You can also click this link for access to the updates and pictures. The Henry-Senachwine Board of Education will continue to meet monthly and welcomes public attendance at the meetings.
