HSHS Renovations & Academic Wing Addition – Update
Henry-Senachwine High School renovations and construction on the new academic wing addition have continued over the past few weeks. The following progress has been made:
• Installation of masonry walls is continuing.
• Installation of steel columns, beams, and joists are continuing.
• Installation of new gas line and connection to existing gas line.
• Installation of hollow core planks for storm shelter
• Installation of precast wall panels.
• Preparation and pouring of concrete for the storm shelter.
• Preparation and pouring of concrete floors.
The District will provide progress updates on the high school academic wing addition and renovation work on its website at www.hscud5.org, under tab ‘Master Facility Planning”. You can also click this link for access to the updates. The Henry-Senachwine Board of Education will continue to meet monthly and welcomes public attendance at the meetings.
