HSHS Renovations & Academic Wing Addition – Update

Henry-Senachwine High School renovations and construction on the new academic wing addition have continued over the past few weeks. The following progress has been made:
• Installation of underground plumbing is continuing.
• Electricity has been roughed into specified locations.
• Installation of masonry walls is continuing.
• New lights in the HSHS gymnasium have been installed.
• Steel is being prepared for installation of columns and beams.
• Steel joists and deck are being installed.
The District will provide progress updates on the high school academic wing addition and renovation work on its website at www.hscud5.org, under tab ‘Master Facility Planning”. You can also click this link for access to the updates. The Henry-Senachwine Board of Education will continue to meet monthly and welcomes public attendance at the meetings.
