HSHS Renovations & Academic Wing Addition – Update
Henry-Senachwine High School renovations and construction on the new academic wing addition have continued over the past weeks. The following progress has been made:
• Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing rough-ins
• Block fill of masonry walls
• Framing metal stud walls
• Painting the exterior of the building addition
• Installation of rooftop HVAC units, metal copings, and wall panels
• Installation of pipe and duct insulation
• Hanging of drywall and installation of windows and sprinkler system
The District will provide progress updates on the high school academic wing addition and renovation work on its website at www.hscud5.org, under tab ‘Master Facility Planning”. You can also click this link for access to the updates. The Henry-Senachwine Board of Education will continue to meet monthly and welcomes public attendance at the meetings.
