Henry-Senachwine School District #5 - HSHS Academic Wing Addition – Update

Over the last few weeks, progress on the construction of the new Henry-Senachwine High School academic wing addition has continued. Interior site work has included the rerouting of steam lines, the installation of steel supports in the high school foyer, and the completion of the temporary wall in the high school foyer. Exterior site work has included the installation of the detention pond to the east of the high school, the completion of a temporary contractor parking lot and a temporary sidewalk to the east of the high school. Also, the demolition of the south high school entrance has been completed, in preparation for foundation and building pad installation.
The District will provide progress updates on the high school academic wing addition and renovation work on its website at www.hscud5.org, under tab ‘Master Facility Planning”. The Henry-Senachwine Board of Education will continue to meet monthly and welcomes public attendance at the meetings.
