ReThink

Henry-Senachwine High School is committed to your student’s academic growth, as well as their social, emotional, and behavioral growth. Our goal is for all students to develop the tools to regulate their emotions, develop positive relationships, and demonstrate decision making and responsible behaviors to achieve academic and life success.

During the second semester, students in grades 9 through 12 will complete a self-report screener through ReThink.   This will occur during school hours in your student’s homeroom. Student’s participation in the Rethink self-report screener is voluntary. If you do not wish for your student to participate in the self-report screener, please sign and return the bottom of this form to the main office by January 27th, 2023.

The use of a self-report screener strengthens our efforts to increase student academic and social/emotional success and allows the school to take positive and preventative measures as early as possible.  This screener will help school staff identify students that may need additional social/emotional support.  If you would like to view the screener questions, please visit the school website at www.hscud5.org.

If you have questions or concerns about the ReThink self-report screeners, please contact Kim Sheppard, HSHS Social Worker at ksheppard@hscud5.org or (309) 364-2829.
