Congratulations to Brooke Ulm.

Brooke  has been named the November Student of the month at Henry-Senachwine High School. Brooke is the daughter of Rhonda and Jason Ulm. Brooke was selected from a group of students nominated and selected by the faculty and staff. Currently a senior at HSHS, Brooke is very involved in the school and student life. Brooke has been an Honor Roll student all four years and is a National Honor Society member. Brooke has participated in: FBLA, four years; Lady Mallard Athletic Club, four years; Fellowship for Christian Athletes, four years; Red Krush, four years; FCCLA, four years; and Mallard Ensemble, three years. Brooke has also been a member of the Volleyball and Cheerleading teams for four year and participated with the Dance Team for two years. 

Outside of school, Brooke has volunteered in “Bell Ringing” for the Salvation Army and “Treat the Troops” for FBLA.

After high school, Brooke plans to enroll at Illinois Central College in the Dental Hygienist Program.

On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at the school board meeting, Brooke will be presented with an engraved pen set from the Henry-Senachwine Education Association and a personalized plaque from the Henry-Senachwine School District designating her as "Student of the Month." In addition, she will receive a $25.00 gift certificate from Heartland Bank in Henry, a $25.00 gift card from MidAmerica National Bank in Henry, and a $10.00 savings bond from the Henry Dairy Queen.
