XC 21-22

HSHS Cross Country – Coached by Matt Emmons, the boys and girls cross country season started Tuesday August 31 with a meet hosted by Illinois Valley Central High School in Three Sister Park. The team, composed of both Henry-Senachwine and Midland high school athletes, will travel far and wide this season with Oregon to the north, Kewanee to the west, Prairie Central High School to the east and Peoria to the south. Great things are expected this season with five returning seniors, including Hope Self, Nakeita Kessling, Eric Garrison, PJ Ehrat, and Gage Swinson.  Filling out the rest of the talented running team include Juniors Mikayla Frawley, Lane Elliot and Logan Serpette, Sophomores Howard Martin, Preston Rowe, and Nico Yee, and Freshmen Chris Yee, Blaide Raggains, Noah Dorsey (Midland), Elizabeth Knuckey, Lexi Serpette, and Tori Swinson.
