Volleyball Parents and Guardians
This article is intended for those parents/guardians that have a student that is part of the 2020-2021 Volleyball Team.
Beginning with the Varsity and Fresh/Soph matches vs Roanoke-Benson this Tuesday, March 16th, we are looking to get some parents in the gymnasium to see your student-athletes participate here at HSHS. Each participant will be allowed 2 family members per home match due to our gym size and dimensions, team sizes, as well as IDPH and IHSA policies and procedures. All Volleyball matches will be live streamed with the link being posted in the live feed section of the HSHS website about 30 minutes prior to start time. As of now, parents/guardians are not allowed at any away matches.
Spectators will be required to:
Wear a mask which covers both your mouth and nose
Sign in and be temp and symptom checked by HSHS staff
Sit in designated areas in the gymnasium
Follow all HSHS and IHSA rules and regulations regarding Athletic/Activity Contest
Fresh/Soph parents/guardians will need to exit the gymnasium immediately after the Fresh/Soph match to allow for sanitization as well as to make room for the Varsity spectators. Varsity spectators will need to wait in the Auditorium after signing in until the Fresh/Soph game has finished and the gym area has been sanitized.
