Charlie Allen Memorial Young Pilot Scholarship 

Annually awarding a program of initial flight and ground instruction to eligible 16-19 year old students in Marshall County, IL 

Charlie was a highly respected member of the Lacon community, serving in many roles including the Chamber of Commerce and as Chairman of the airport board. His long time dedication to charitable organizations, and his passion for aviation and the Father's Day Breakfast are sincerely missed by everyone in the area. Charlie passed away in May, 2018.

2020 Program Benefits:

• $750 Towards initial flight training

• 5 hours of Private Pilot ground instruction

• Logbook and certificate
